Granite Charter Academy will be the first of its kind to offer a comprehensive program from Kindergarten through 12th grade that provides a combination of college preparatory curriculum with greatly enhanced access to technical skill development designed to improve employability outcomes in industries that are critically short on employees. This includes STEM-related fields, renewable energy, building and construction, and other areas as directed by future community interest. This foundation will help them build on their developing interests and abilities, allowing access to colleges and corporations that support their career pathways prior to high school graduation. Granite Charter Academy aims to become the first high-performing, K-12, career-minded charter school in the region, producing a workforce-ready, highly skilled group of graduates to meet the ever-growing demand for skilled workers in their community. The academy will partner with local businesses, colleges and organizations, contributing to the continued growth of Chatham County.
